Da/Pro Rubber

Join us at Da/Pro Rubber to experience the wonderful world of rubber! Learn the difference between compression rubber molding and transfer rubber molding, what types of materials work best, and how these factors affect tooling cost.  Whether you need conductive rubber gaskets or rubber over molding, Da/Pro can do it and has been doing it for 50 years!  We’ll be touring their 30,000 square foot facility in Newburyport, MA, which specializes in hot stamping, insert molding and sub-assembly.

Logistics

We’ll meet at the west lobby (near building 36 and the play ground) of the Stata Center at MIT (32 Vassar Street, Cambridge, MA).  Please check in by 8:50 am, as we will car pool to the factory. Please bring some cash (about $3-$5 per person) to help your driver out with gas.

If you have a car and are willing to drive, please let us know!
